not me, and we will be overwhelmed by the hype associated with it. Is it just me or are news services more interested in the hype vs the real news.

Personally, yes - I've got the day off
Not that I will spend it watching the event though. I'm pretty fed up of hearing about it, and have been since it was announced. Also, the fact they are making other documentaries off the back of it - tonight's listings feature a doc which has a 'hairdresser believed to be a distant relative' of Kate Middleton - wtf!

I`m not a fanatical fan of the Royals, like a couple of them, but will be watching because I`m a sucker for a lovely wedding!

not really, but since the country will be grinding to a halt anyway we're going to have some folk over and have a breakfast party - what's the harm?! I quite like the big set piece state occasions and I think the British do them best - so I'll be watching. I'm quite happy with the royal family, the tourism money they bring in must more than make up for the cost of the civil list etc. so any arguments against them on cost I don't think stack up....quite happy for constitutional reform, but why not keep the theatre too?

....on a related note happened to pop in Culloden on Saturday while passing through Inverness and stumbled across the 265th anniversary of the battle. It could have been so different , a tactical error to march 26 miles through the night and then fight a battle on no food on a boggy field....

...great new visitor centre there by the way....

I would certainly watch itif it was like this:

Blow away the dreams that tear you apart
Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing but lost and brokenhearted

I am not a Royalist nor anti-Royal. But just happy and glad for both of them that it went well. Hope it gives the country a lift in general as it bloody welll needs it. And good luck to the lovely couple.

We had a lovely day with friends.....any excuse as they say! :D
How lovely to have some nice news for a change. I am just sick of hearing everybody moan about the wedding and all it is costing the tax payer, was it really that much to us as individuals?
The bride was stunning, the groom looked very handsome and the guests gave us plenty to chat about. The Aston martin was also a brilliant touch.
Well done to everybody who made the most of a joyous occasion and had some fun :D
