Mrs. Mc D. decided to have her own portrait painted by a well-known artist.

She told the artist, "Paint me with three-carat diamond pendant earrings, a large diamond necklace, glimmering emerald bracelets, and a beautiful, red ruby pendant."
"But ma'am, you are not wearing any of those things..!!" stated the
artist.
"I know..." said Mrs. Johnson... "I dont even possess them..!!"
"Then why do you want me to paint them...???" asked the artist.
Mrs. Johnson replied.. "My health is not good and my husband is having an affair with his secretary. When I die I'm sure he
will marry her... and I want the bitch to go nuts looking for the jewelry..!!!"

What is a good portrait lens for a Canon? I have a Canon Rebel T2i and I'm wanting to take portraits. All I have ist the kit lens which isn't that great. Also I am considering buying an aftermarket lens. So my question, what is a good portrait lens, and is it a good idea to go with an aftermarket lens? Also what is a good lens to do portraits for large families and groups.
