This is the house of fun?I posted the joke because I thought it was funny.I do not claim to be a racist,so the remark by Mo hurt.My comments about the twelve bore were intended to be humorous and I abjectly apologise for any offence caused.Does any one know how to de-register from this forum? Please advise as I think that it is time for me to leave it.Good-bye.

Whoa Roger! This is getting out of hand now. Everybody off to their corners right now and calm down. Roger, it's your thread so I'd advise you to close it now and that's the end of it.
Let's finish with a non-offensive Travellers joke:
A man and a woman, travelling to Europe and who have never met before, find themselves in the same sleeping carriage of a train. After the initial embarrassment, they both manage to get to sleep; the woman on the top bunk, the man on the lower.
In the middle of the night, the woman leans over and says, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm awfully cold and I was wondering if you could possibly pass me another blanket."
The man leans out and, with a glint in his eye, says, "I've got a better idea. Let's pretend we are married."
"Why not," giggles the woman.
"Good," he replies. "Get your own damn blanket."
And in case I offend anyone, let me say that I am a married person myself and many of my best friends are too!

First A Horse called Juan Face wrote:The PC brigade should be shot, anyway. Then let's see them complain.
Then LANDROVER ROGER wrote:That seems quite a good idea. Now where is my 12 bore?
And then Malky wrote:Hmmm, threats of violence now - you really are an unsavoury character
Hmmm, seems some people are allowed to say things and others are called names.
Nothing new there then, eh? What?

Whoops, so was I. I'm not doing too well on here today. Think I'll just tiptoe away and watch from a distance - it might be safer
