Two people are looking at a painting in The Tate Gallery,Liverpool. It is a painting of three naked black men sitting on a bench. The man in the middle has a pink penis. The curator walks past them and notices their quizzical expression. He explains that the reason the one in the middle has a pink penis is an expression of the artist`s feelings about black people being oppressed by whites and also reflects the way that homosexual black men are frowned upon in some societies. The curator then walks away.A Scottish chap walks up to the couple and says,"Would ye like to know the real meaning behind that painting?".The couple ask why should he know the true meaning to which he replies,"I painted that.It is not black men but three naked Scottish coal miners and the one in the middle has been home at lunchtime".
