Turkey weighs 20 Kg.
10Kg + half its own weight.

I think the answer might be 64 days.

But the eight workers would be leaning on their shovels blethering half the day so I think the true answer would be 32 days

Maybe 4 of them were smokers and that would cut them out altogether. If so the answer would be 16 days.

The 8 workers had to be picked up and taken home by the council lorry so a driver was needed to sit in the cab reading his paper till lousin time. (remember the scythe men) So we now have 9 men + quarter day travelling time each day. (the one man in the question lives round the corner)

This brings the answer down to about 1 day.
