An elderly couple o Toonies had dinner at another couple's hoose, and after eating, the wives left the table and went intae the kitchen.
The two ancient Toonies wis talking, and one said, 'Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really guid. I would gie it a wild recomendation .'
The other yin said, 'Hoot's the name of this restaurant ?'
The first yin thought awhiley and thought a wee whiley longer and finally said, 'Hoot's the name o thont floo-er ye gie tae someone you love? Ye ken, the wan thit's red and his thorns.' ;
'Dae ye mean a rose?'
'Aye , that's the wan,' replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, ' Hey Rose, hoot's the name of thon restaurant we went tae last night?'
