Leather Jacket Repairs....

Postby GarySutherland » Wed Mar 02, 2005 12:48 am

Daft question, maybe, but does anyone know of somewhere in Campbeltown or the surrounding area where I can get a new zipper put in the jacket of my leather motorcycle jacket?

Spring is fast approaching and I'd rather not have to take it to the mainland if I can help it.

Cheers

Try Pennylane in Longrow next to Clydesdale Bank
Zena did a zip for me last week and did a good job.

Any pointers, gratefully accepted.

I tried Penny Lane but no joy - the leather is too thick for her machine to manage without chewing it up. Have been recommended a place in Glasgow but that's nearly four hours each way.

I think you're going to have to bite the bullet on this one and get in your rowing boat and go to the mainland
