On another note do you think it is about time we split this forum so there is one for general chit chat and one for discussion on local issues?

Still think she could have managed another crate! :lol:

I think having a general chat section would be good.

It would hopefully encourage people to post about anything and everything, which would help to get a bit of a 'community' type thing going.

Assuming that you want that of course and don't want everything to be relative to Campbeltown/Kintyre.

local chit chat is a great idea Why would anyone come on to a campbeltown site and not want to see lighthearted banter between locals Hopefully if non locals don't understand they can either ask or visit the town If they want internanational topics then they can look at the news on BBC which should be called anglosaxaphone

It would be like the sports section don't look if you don't want to know

The photo is hillarious! I just spoke to my daughter (2400 mi away in Pennsylvania). She was telling me a male law student she knows was going to call his landlady to change his lightbulb. At first she thought it was a "bad lawyer joke". She said, "Where are all of the MANLY men???"
Can't wait to show her the Man of the Year photo! She'll be here May 11.
