Carradale Holiday.

Just returned from a superb holiday in Carradale.We stayed at Buckhyne Cottage on the Shore Road.Lovely cosy,well equipped holiday home within sight of the harbour.We will definitely return there again.Hope to post some photos on here soon.
There was a time of sadness during the holiday though.On previous visits to Carradale and the surrounding area we had always brought our two Labradors,Ernie and Kasper with us.They loved to swim in the River Carra and play on Carradale Beach.We lost them both recently.They had both reached the ripe old age of 14 years old.We had them cremated and vowed to scatter their ashes in the place that they loved.We did just that last week,scattering their ashes in the River Carra and watching them float out to join the sea.Floods of tears but we had to do it.

Thank you Bobh.I now have Max.Two and a half year old yellow Labrador.We re-homed him when he was 11 months old.Lovely natured dog and he loved swimming in the sea at Carradale just as our other two did.

Nice bumping into you at the Network Centre Roger,sorry never got over to Shore road to get a proper yarn.Glad you had good weather for your stay and enjoyed your holiday cottage.
