Had a great weekend in Corby in 1975 with the Campbeltown Pipe Band. This was the year the Pipe Band World Championships were held there. We travelled down on the Thursday and came back on the Monday. The weekend also took in a Pipe Band competition in Nottingham on the Sunday. It was a memorable weekend. There is a big settlement of Campbeltown folk there.

The band didn't win anything, but our Drum Major Ian Lang won the Drum Major Competition at Nottingham on the Sunday. :D
