Has it got weaker or have flies, wasps etc developed a resistance to it ?
I had my first visitor three weeks back and I drenched him with Raid, the bugger wouldn't stop moving, he put up a hell of a fight and I had to take drastic steps in the end. He didn't move after that.
No, I'm not cruel, I'll go out of my way to ensure a Bee leaves my house safe and sound, but wasps are evil, my mate calls them Satan's Children. Sounds like a chapter of Hells Angels !

I use an executioner, zaps them with an electric charge

It's dead and that's good enough for me. You can take care of them all you want, but when they enter my house they die. 'Orrible creatures they are.

That looks like a wasp to me!! But as someone said earlier, catch and release, everything has its place in the wider picture.

Wasps are evil, they serve no useful purpose in the world, except to inflict pain and terrify folk like me, they don`t deserve to live. You`re right though Martin, flies and wasps seem to have become immune to fly sprays, the stuff is almost useless.

Ther must be some EU directive somewhere controlling the strength of fly spray. I am old enough to remember DDT in plastic bottles that you had to squeeze to spray the stuff out, with it dribbling down your fingers. Worked a treat and I must say the webbed feet and extra thumbs are really useful at times.

Not true I'm afraid! Whilst I may not be their biggest fan, wasps do contribute to pollination and with the decline in bees we're experiencing we need all the help we can get. Also, I'd imagine they're also farmer's friends by eating pest species that affect crops. They themselves must be food for something too!?! But yes.....they are pretty evil!

Also, when you kill a wasp it sends out a distress signal to attract others to attack you.....so far better to trap and release.

Kill a wasp and a thousand more will attend it's funeral was a saying many years ago.I do not regard any living thing apart from some humans as "evil".

Looks to me like, what we call in Australia a "European Wasp". When they are around you have to be careful to cover any open soft drink cans as they like to enter for a sugar hit and of course if you take a swig and swallow the beastie it will sting with dire results.

WD 40 kills them, but got to hit them directly; Now... rabbits they are the true evil

I've never had any luck zapping rabbits with WD40, oh how i've tried!
