Campbeltown Holiday

Postby glassblower » Fri Sep 06, 2013 6:58 pm

Spent last week in the "Wee Toon" on holiday and all the family enjoyed it, it's a couple of years since I was there and saw quiet a few changes. The new "Park Terrace" looks well and I quite like the new road layout there and at the roundabout by the Royal. We had some great meals ,especially at the Argyll Hotel, the Café Bluebell and the Muneroy Tearoom at Southend. If you live in Campbeltown or the surrounding area or are there on holiday you must try "the Sweets" that Francis makes at the Muneroy, her "Meringues and Chocolate Eclairs" are out of this world.
Returned home last Friday on the 7-35am Ferry, what a fantastic way to end a holiday, we all hope the ferry keeps running as it can only be a good thing for the town.
