So, with McNairs' road diesel currently a whopping 5 Pence a litre cheaper.....is ANYONE actually buying diesel from the County Garage??!!!!

Was 140.9p yesterday......that's cheaper than County's petrol! Annoyingly, I've just swapped my diesel car for a petrol one!! When are McNair's going to start stocking Unleaded?! :)

That's a very good price, down here in S Yorkshire Diesel is between £1-37 and £1-41, don't know Petrol price as i run a Diesel.

The price you quote for Diesel at McNair's is 3p cheaper than I can get living only five miles from the Stanlow refinery in Cheshire. :!:

yep they are advertising 139.9 don't think you can get it in Glasgow any cheaper - certainly not up the G. Western Rd. anyway!

Normally put twenty or thirty pounds in at a time,but tank was nearly empty so filled it to the brim at that price :D

Never mind the diesel prices, now they are charging 50p to blow up your tyres!. It's a wonder they have any customers left, greedy shower of b******s!

It looks like Campbell has never been out of Campbeltown. Most garages elsewhere, charge for air, anything up to £1!

For your information elvanim contrary to what you believe, I have been out of campbeltown on more occasions than I can remember, my point being the county charged 10p for air which jumped to 50p, so, not content with ripping customers off with fuel prices they are doing the same with air

On reflection I agree that the charge has been somewhat inflated, but it's good to air your view.

You'd think with the extra they charge for diesel too, they could perhaps provide the plastic gloves for handling it. Or is that just the reserve of EVERY other filing station in the UK?! ;-)
