Hi all,

I wonder if anyone would be able to help me locate the resting place of my old friend Chris Beveridge. At just 17 or 18 yrs old, Chris was victim of a motorbike accident in the early 80s. I didn't make it to his funeral all those years ago, but I've always wanted to pay my respects to my friend.

Chris was a student at Paisley College at the time of his death. He was an orphan living on a farm just outside Campeltown. I remember he had a big pal named Callum, also from Campbeltown.

If anyone could help me trace him I'd be most grateful.

Chris

Thanks Skrik. I just looked at the cemetery on Google Maps; looks enormous ! Would you know if there's any way to pinpoint his gravestone in the cemetery ?

Best regards

Pretty sure that a local council should have a list of people buried there.

Chris, if you go to the cemetery on a week day go to the portacabin and ask the foreman,
he has a record of where everyone is buried.

Thank you very much indeed. My next time in Scotland I'll make a point of visiting Campbeltown, and paying my last respects to Chris.

He had been my room mate at college. I was on industrial placement in England when he died, so I wasn't able to make his funeral, though I always promised I'd visit his graveside.

Kind regards

Chris
