Peninsula off Tarbert West Loch?

Postby ChrisA » Thu Jun 30, 2011 11:21 pm

Planning to see a few more places next time we are up, and been looking at the peninsula off the Tarbert west loch ( B8024) Kilberry etc (unsure of name of peninsula). Never been in that area, so wondering if it's worth a specific day out? Any recommendations re relics, nice beaches, stately houses, anything cultural or scenic really?

Knapdale Peninsula, there are some standing stones near Kilberry and its a pleasant drive round. Kilmartin Museum has lots to offer and the castle just up the road from there is interesting with lovely views.
