Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003

Can anyone else tell me more about this? New legislation apparently came into force on 1st April 2005.

I went to book a football park and was told about this - the new legislation means that if we have players under 18 we must now have a policy which complies with the above Act . If not we cannot book the park. (Should it not be under 16????). I would imagine this is now the same with halls and anything owned by the Council?

Can anyone shed any light on what Policy we should have?

Don't seem to be getting anything through searches on the net. Good that this is being implemented but it would have been beneficial to clubs etc if someone had contacted us prior to this?
