Yes, finally got news on Christmas Eve that I'll get a refund. Unfortunately, the one I bought has been discontinued so they will credit me this cost against the new model which is £200 dearer!!

I got the original one as a bundle deal but to be honest I'm not happy with this. It has taken all this time and then if I want a camera I've to pay more!!!

Really want to get this up and running asap!

I would fight that one D - you have the statutory right to obtain a replacement. I've been through this myself.

They are saying they have still to receive a credit note from Panasonic before the can credit me. They will work out what that is against the bundle they sold me then credit me. I then have to purchase a new one - that costs £200 more than the model I purchased back in September which is now dis-continued.

I said to them I wanted a replacement - they said no.

I said I surely had the right to a replacement and not a credit - they said no.

I said the above again saying if I bought a new TV which then went on the blink two weeks after trying it, I wouldn't have to wait until the manufactures came back before I got a replacement after agreeing it is damaged and if I the model I purcahsed was not available I would surely then get a replacement. They still said NO!

Really cheesed off with the whole affair!

Good news - got a replacement which is the newer model. Only difference is it isn't Power of Ethernet but I need power to the housing unit anyway so....

Hopefully get it asap and get it installed! 8)

Are you connecting it to a POE router? If so you can buy quite cheaply a little device that connects between the LAN cable and the camera and lets you pull the power out there and feed it to the webcam via a separate power wire.

I use several D-Link DWL-P50 power adapters to supply several devices here.

Sorry, I thought I had replied - thanks for the information, much appreciated. I need to power the housing unit anyway as there is a heater/fan in it so will be able to take the power from there. Should be arriving any day soon but with the weather as it is not much chance of installing it! 8)

Can someone else try the above link - you should get a Blue Panasonic screen with a tab Login to press to login. I have tried this with the laptop remotely and it works. Thanks
