What a great pity we don't live nearer my husband has hammer drills of all sizes and my son is an electrician :!: they would have helped out but we are too far away.I can't hardly wait to start viewing once again I would rather view the webcam than the T.V. I have been watching Live on the Edge which has kept me going.I hope it all progresses well for you. Thanks for letting me know :D :D :D

Hopefully the next 7-10 days. I've been rather busy lately, away with work etc plus I'm waiting on the electrician coming!

Wish it was working on Sunday as the loch was stunning. Back to miserable grey today however.

Yes shame the webcam wasn"t running at the weekend when the loch looked so nice.Hey but anyway Campbeltown Loch is always beautiful to me whether tis rain or shine I really envy all who live in such a place, and will never know why my Mum ever left there to come down south. All I have to look at round here is houses and more houses.I can't wait to get back to Campbeltown next year hopefully.

Basically waiting on it to be mounted outside the house - went to do it last weekend but it was blowing a gale. Its up and working and I've been testing it this week. I'm hoping it will be installed this weekend as the weather is to be good.

Can't wait to get it up and working. Its really good - I can pan and tilt it and it has 24x zoom so will be able to see the harbour/cross/main street from the house. :-) Think I have 8 pre-set views for browsers to view so should be enough to have quite a variance.

Thanks for your interest - I'll maybe give you a shout when it comes to testing views out etc

Cheers

Anyone on now who can test?

Go to

http://92.16.130.115

Click on Login

Ensure General User is selected and click Login

USername - kintyreforum

password - kf2008

Now click on the single tab and you'll see the camera over the loch - you can move it around by clicking on the picture and you can zoom in by using Zoom - left zooms in, right zooms out. (or by scrolling your mouse)

Have a go and let me know. This isn't the final set-up just testing. Nice day! 8)

I'll have to restrict it however when it is up and running and on the website. Will then probably be 8 views that you can move to. Will see. Don't think I can have people zooming and panning all over the town. BB watching! 8)

Pretty impressed with it myself.

Watch out, Dalitober CCTV :) .

Much impressed with this SCD, nearly make out the person welding the dredges aboard the BA fishing boat moored at the quay.

Aye, neighbourhood watch 8) Make the best of this testing period as when it is set-up you won't be able to freely roam. Don't think I would want that anyway - someone would take exception to it. 8)

Out of interest how are the controls? Is the response and quality good.

What are your favourite views as I'll need to choose 8. Was thinking along the lines of.

1. Campbeltown Loch
2. Dalintober
3. Aqualibrium
4. Cross and Main Street
5. Pontoon
6. Harbour
7. New Quay
8. Jetty

But interested in what people like to see most.

Regards
