Great pics all! I love love love Archie's work, think he is a top photographer, but this week I'm going to have to go with the windsurfer pic. That is a great shot, the surfer's body in perfect position, couldn't have been in a better if he was posed. Good job!

And the otter is gorgeous. Can we vote for all of them ?

It is getting more and more difficult to vote each month as all are just wonderful.

Do you think that is why some people don't vote? :?

Apologies for my effort in amongst these crackers but I forgot to post one on the 20th so had to use one of my own. I quite liked the angle however. 8)

I think one thing that makes it difficult is that they are all of such differing subjects:

1. A nature study

2. Landscape/ Historical

3. Seascape

4. Sport

They all have different attractions

Which of the photographers are professional (make a living out of) and which are just camera buffs?? I'm mainly asking about Archie and Eddie..

I went to Peter Sandground's link and there are some quite amazing photographs on that site. Great use of lighting and creative.

Tangy rocks for me, moody wild dark an deep. Again very difficult to choose - the subject matter swung it.

I`m still dithering I`m afraid, it`s a very difficult choice, but I will make my mind up soon. I`m torn between the surfer, Tangy rocks and the otter.

I voted for "footprints". Excellent use of semiotic metaphor, adds depth and dimension to the photograph. Who is this DP? :?

Archie's "Tangy Rocks" is breathtaking though. He's a very gifted man with a camera, if he's not making a living out of
photography then he's in the wrong job. Is there any chance of having a sort of "best of" feature somewhere on the Forum for the visual artists (photographers, painters, cartoonists, sculptors, whatever) to showcase their work in the same way the auditory (if that's the right word) artists can?

I`ve voted for the otter, because I love wildlife pictures, but they are all outstanding photos.

It's far too difficult, they're all magnificent. However, I had to go with the surfing one too and I loved the caption!!!!!

What's happened to photo of the month, seems to have gone very quiet, no winner mentioned for April, missed out May and now into June? Must have been all this good weather keeping people away from their computers. Back to you DP .
