Perhaps you weren't signed on and only signed on when you went to post hence the reason you could vote after you posted? Get it? :lol: :lol:

Can you all vote? I remember 4th Gen couldn't vote but he's fae Sooothennnnddddd and you have to be 49 to vote down there! :wink:

appears i went for the popular choice, i really need to buy myself a new camera, my old 35mm praktica is so out of date these days, anyone want to buy it? subsidise me for a digital version in my old shakey hands

Your photography is inspirational. Did you go to college to learn your tecniquies (spelt wrong)? You really have a talent for framing the unusual. :D

Thanks Davie he really is a remarkable photographer. I know I have been able to show people his photo's to show them just how beautiful it is in Kintyre and just why I miss it so much.

Thanks for the beautiful photos of Campbeltown. My GGrandfather Archibald McPhail left there in 1862 to live in New Zealand. Just to see Campbeltown in beautiful colour makes me very sad that I will never see this wonderful place.
Should there be anyone on the forum who could be related to my Archibald McPhail b 1842 father was Donald b 1811 mother Jean, in 1841 Census they lived in Old Quay St Campbeltown, I would love to hear from anyone who may know of this family - there are many McPhails living in New Zealand.
