I would think that the only problem with the water is high nitrates which is not very good for pregnant women and wee bairns. but there is probably not much wrong with it, just council risk assesment gone mad. I find the signs a bit of an unnessesary eyesore. It will be used for an illustration of such sentements in my Disertation for the Geography department at Dundee.
