Receiving email on 2 computers

Postby Bobbie En Tejas » Sat Feb 10, 2007 6:45 pm

I have 3 web email accounts that I access through IncrediMail. It stays on the internet server. I have two laptops and I want my email to download to both laptops, so that regardless which laptop I'm using, all my email is accessible through Incredimail. Is there a way to have all the email download on both laptops?

Hi Bobbie,

If you are leaving a copy on the server, you should be able to download the messages to all the pc's, as each time IncrediMail runs it will synchronise the email you have downloaded on to the pc you are using with what is on the server.

You just need to set up the laptops to check for email with the leave a copy on the server option.

Thanks daft! I did leave the email on the server on the web side, but I didn't have that checked in my Incredimail... so it works now. Appreciate it. :P

Hi again Bobbie,

To leave a copy on the server, you will need to do this on both laptops.. open your email client>Click tools>Accounts>Highlight an account>click properties>advanced tab>check the "leave a copy of messages on server" box>click ok.
