I have to say I watched his recorded LIVE performance last night from Berlin and it was superb.

Without a doubt a total showman and if you ever get the chance to go and see him well worth the admission! 8)

Robbie splits the country totally. Dickhead or Deity?

Personally, I think the guy is great. He's a showman par excellence, a quality - though much maligned - vocalist, and basically a perfect popstar.

And his Brat pack exercise was simply beautiful.

Up the Robster. 8)

Showman - yes but that is easily translated as show-off. As an entertainer he's a showman - real-life, which I think he has a hard time keeping a grasp of, he's a dickhead.

But - he's good at what he does.

Showman, entertainer, no doubts on that, i can take or leave his music, some is better than great, a lot is worse than rubbish, and with the not so very small fortune he has, i dont think being called a dickhead will worry him to much. Good luck to the guy, he pulled himself out of the gutter and took control of his own destiny, and it payed off for him,BIG TIME. Lucky so and so.

RW played at the Paradiso in Amsterdam about 2 weeks, a venue holding about 1,500 people to promote his new album. Most of the ticket holders were fan club members, radio prize winners and a few people who bought tickets. But the black market for tickets was crazy - tickets were being bought at Eur 2,600 per ticket (about 1,800 pounds), now I know some folk think he is great but honestly dont think he is worth that much.

Esp since a lot more better artists, in my humble opinion, are playing here soon - White Stripes, Oasis, Sufjan Stevens, Franz Ferdinand, Maximo Park, the Editors, Teenage Fanclub, Exploited, Rakes, Zutons, Echo and the Bunnymen, Posies, Arctic Monkeys etc. But all a matter of taste and how much you are willing to pay.

So True. If the White Stripes were playing in my garden, I'd shut the curtains and call in the police.

Few days of windae shopping, visiting coffeeshops (well you need to be stoned to see Mr Williams) etc and a concert. Anyway here is a link in English for buying tickets.
