went to the fingers on sunday,had a great night,they are still pouring out great music and their old ones to,jake burns not changed a bit ian mccallum just as daft as ever. the wife and i got a great suprise when we got asked back stage to meet the band :lol: had a few drinks with them as you do and got t.shirts.brill night.

wow.

I still recall going to see SLF in the summer of 78. The Factory club in Manchester (then known as the Russel club) it was one of the most intense and violent gigs I ever saw.

Literally dancing on the broken bottles, avoiding flying fists and heads, and feeling powered up to the limiit on alcohol, speed, and the sheer aggression in Jakes' voice during 'Alternative Ulster'.

Immense.

BTW, is Bruce Foxton still playing bass for 'em?

yes he is still playing and still brill took the wife this time, she was over the monn. you dont get all the bottles flying now if you do you are thrown out it was a great night. ps they are still going strong. :lol:
