She is amazing. I read she is from Scotland, Mid Lothian I believe.

I'm not sure how the other competitors are, but I really hope she wins! What a great story.

I`m ashamed to say that I was like everyone there, expecting her to start caterwauling, WHAT a surprise! She is fantastic.

Max Clifford has his work cut out there

Fantastic singer though ... a reminder that music should be about music.

Brillant GG .. Father and son I believe ..they were so funny I just could not stop laughing ....

As for Susan Boyle ...an incredible voice and she brought tears to my eyes just listening to her . :D As you say never judge a book by its cover.

Laughter and tears what a tonic.

I was surprised that she has never been married and says she has never been kissed when she is just so lovely. Surely a case of men judging by the cover indeed?

This video had been going round & round over here, too. She's a beautiful woman, all said, with an incredible voice, no doubt.

Bobbie - I read she is from Blackburn Scotland. This is a pretty good article:

A little OT but can someone explain...it states that Blackburn is in western Scotland, but I don't get that from the map...looks like *eastern* Scotland to me??
Suppose they held a war and nobody came?

Listen to Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle's performance of Cry Me A River, recorded for a charity CD in 1999, here.

Maybe not relevant, but does anybody know how much these two tossers get paid for standing in the wings making inane comments and gestures? Their input to the programme is pretty insubstantial.

The woman from Blackburn is way ahead of them in the talent ratings!

thanks Linda :)
(and from what I can tell West Lothian is in eastern Scotland. The article I read incorrectly placed Blackburn in "western Scotland". Obviously no big deal...just my curious mind taking me on a little side trip )
