50 years this year since the plane crash that took him, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.

It certainly doesn`t seem that long since I heard it on the news, and couldn`t/wouldn`t believe it. Time DOES fly when you`re getting older!

Yep,coming up for 50years since the day the music died.
Ofcourse one of the guys who gave up his seat on the plane was Holly's bass player, Waylon Jennings.
Waylon went on to become a massive country star until his death in Feb 2002.
