Have your say....

ABBA

Any Abba fans on here? I loved them in their heyday, still love listening to their recordings, but back then couldn`t afford to buy records a lot. My daughter`s been googling them today, and came across a song we`d never heard before, apparently it was never released as a single, but it`s so beautiful! It`s called "Andante", and my daughter has downloaded it, so now we can hear it regularly. We watched the film Mamma Mia the other night and heard 2 songs on there also that were new to us, and we thought till today that we`d heard all of Abba`s records over the years.

as for me, I wouldn't call myself a fan but their music certainly evokes fun memories :D I always turn it up when they're played! Have you seen 'Muriel's Wedding'? ABBA soundtrack/theme, love this movie!
Suppose they held a war and nobody came?

No, Lossit Lass, I haven`t see the film, it`s not the sort my husband would have in the house, maybe I`ll hire it sometime and watch after he goes to bed!

In November 2005 a limited box set of the complete Abba recordings was released.

The nine CDs comprise every single studio-recorded piece of music commercially released by the Swedish group (under the name ABBA and/or Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid/Frida) on single, LP or CD, including alternate mixes.

I saw that advertised. My hubby has a PS3, but somehow I don`t think he`d want that in his stocking on Christmas morning! It would suit me, but he`d rather play bang bang you`re dead!!
