Strictly Come Dancing

Have your say....

I'm glad they are all through because now the public can vote! The judges would have put Tom out! As I said before, Lisa and Rachel are the best technically but Tom is just more exciting to watch. Go Tom GO!

NelsonL, your mum has extremely good taste! Even more so if she`s supporting Tom, as me and my daughter are doing.
Haha, I just asked her who she was supporting and yes, she said Tom.
Yippee!! The right one won after all, I was a bit worried after the first half. But Tom`s Viennese waltz was beautiful, and then his show dance was BRILLIANT! I`m so pleased that he won.

Just watched it there as had to record it last night - it was an awesome final! And it shows that the decision last week to put him through was the right one. Tom's show dance was spectacular! And wasn't Austen fabulous? I still think he should have been there instead of Lisa.
I actually cannot believe that I get excited about this show - I would never have watched it in the past. I must be getting old . . .

Thought Landrover Rodger would have been on here, delighted that Strictly and X Factor are finished for another year

  You might manage a couple of weeks grace Roger before we are off again
I thought Lisa and Brendan again were fab - she is definitely the "most improved" - Brendan must be a great teacher! Rachel was fab but Tom's show dance in my little opinion stole the show!!

I really cannot watch the dross that is The X Factor any more - apart from one guy who can sing and two women who are ok, the talent is just not there and where I used to watch it for the deliberate fixing and backbiting and over-the-top pretence of drama, it's just a complete parody of itself now. And after those song murders Bruce, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Lennon, et al must be spinning in their beds/graves!

But Strictly is fab! I miss the Dance-offs but there are really talented people in it this year. I tried for months to learn dancing in a weekly class but had to give up it was so, so difficult. I'm for Scott Maslen who is just fantastic. However, the public voting to keep that carthorse in it is just ridiculous! I cannot believe that Felicity Kendal is OLDER than her! :<>

Personally, I was disappointed when Christina Ripemoff went out at the first hurdle

I`m missing Kristina`s professional partner, Brian Fortuna  , oh, what a lovely bum  , great dancer as well of course! We went to see him and Kristina at Peterborough in March, brilliant evening. I also wish that Darren and Lilya were still there, we only see Darren occasionally now, and Lilya`s gone completely.

Postby Mr Plod » Mon Oct 18, 2010 11:55 pm

I was sitting in the livingroom reading the paper when the wife announced that Strictly Come Dancing was coming on and to go and get the kettle on. I thought " I'm off!" I mentioned to the wife on my way out the door that the only way I would watch this guff is if it was called STRICTLY NAKED WOMEN COME DANCING. Then just before I stepped out the room to go and play World of Warcraft online upstairs until it was over, I saw DORIS KARLOFF herself waddling down the studio stairs onto the dance floor. A horrible image formed in my mind. I tried to force my brain to block it but it was to late - a picture of Anne Widdicombe naked supplanted itself there. I nearly boked. I might need to jump the bus to the health centre to see if Doc Anderson could refer me tae the A & B for some counsellin. I may never be the same again.
