Stone of Destiny - the film

Went to see it at the Pictures on Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A bit far fetched at times but brought back memories of my idealistic student days and the 79 Group.

So support your local cinema and get along to see it this week.

Saw it last week and have to say it was a load of old tripe.

Bloomer 1 - Shot from the front of Glasgow University in 1950 had the Club deck at Ibrox in the background (Built 1998?).
Bloomer 2 - "Right that's it, we'll all have to split up and meet up back in Glasgow" - filmed in Clyde Place, Glasgow with the Suspension Bridge as a backdrop and the Clyde. You can just see a wee bit of the roof of the St. Enoch Centre!
Bloomer 3 - High rise flats are seen in the background
Bloomer 4 - An 07 reg Glasgow City Council Vauxhall Astra van is in another scene
Bloomer 5 - The car used to transport the stone in 1950 - is a 1953 Armstrong Siddley

Surely these small details make NO difference to the film......
