The Best Song Ever Written In Kintyre?

Have your say....

The Best Song Ever Written In Kintyre?

Postby Sheik Yir Erse » Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:50 pm

Seeing as Mr McCartney was being slated on another thread for not doing much for Kintyre (other than the obvious contribution of one song) my nomination would be as follows ........

Much as it pains me to say it, this is a fantastic cover

Unfortunately embedding is prevented on this.

Any other nominations????

I've always wondered why Kintyre doesn't make more of this song (and in fact the other famous one)

Local nomination for me is Bay of Storms. Unfortunately not available on You Tube. 8)

I love the Mull of Kintyre song and video... often find myself singing it. My other choice is Harbour Wall by Kenny Gilchrist.

Salt Air and Stars. Not saying it's the best, but it certainly hits a spot for me.
