Whose face on TV do you want to throw a brick at?

Have your say....

Whose face on TV do you want to throw a brick at?

Postby Govangirl » Thu Sep 18, 2008 9:40 pm

Which person's face on TV makes you want to throw a brick at the screen when they appear?

I would nominate the so smug and loathsome Jeremy Kyle and that man who makes me seethe, Jeremy 'I'm the leader of the gang round the back of the school with the fags to share' Clarkson. 'Thinking woman's crumpet' my ass - take my brain out first!
Oh, and that guy Howard from the Halifax adverts!
And that woman from Liberty that's always on the news Chakarbarti or something, she's so smug!
And that other woman that's always on the news when they discuss wayward children who dresses in multicoloured kaftans and giant turbans made out of my granny's curtains. She'd report you to the thought police if you gave your kids a KFC.

Looks like I'll need more than one brick!

And I've got more!
Blow away the dreams that tear you apart
Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing but lost and brokenhearted

Yeah, Jeremy Kyle...he's a potential brickee. He gets the thickest sluts and morons you'd ever meet on his show and they behave like...well, like sluts and morons. And then he gets angry and starts shouting at them, calling them sluts and morons. What's the point??
Oh, and all of those t.v. presenters/ celebs/ media personalities/ photogenic idiots who refer to each other as "role models", (how stupid do they think we are?), they're on the list. All except Lorraine Kelly. Lorraine's o.k.

That's so strange because I like her too. There's nothing forced about her. I loved her when she was with Ant and Dec.

I don't know if it's allowed - Hell it is, it's my thread - it's not a face but a voice....................... but I hate that woman on the advert "It's not just a sickening voice, it's a Marks and Spencer sickening voice"

OMG! That just sums him up entirely - he so wants to be Bill. They obviously pander to him though, letting him do the stupid reports when he dresses in a ballerina outfit/diver suit etc to show how 'up-for-a-laugh' he is. There is also a weatherman who has some really strange way of talking (as if he has to cough) on ITV I think - I actually have to change the channel because it makes me feel sick. Plus any adverts where they are whispering...

David Milliband is the classic example of a NOBODY who rises rapidly to the top after attending Bilderberg Group meetings.

He could well be the next dynamic, young newsreader in chief ... but maybe only after David Cameron, who will get elected next, despite the Conservative party having no policies, other than attacking a shaky Gordon Brown.
