Something to do with HBO trying to pull all this stuff from youtube. I guess they hope to have the DVDs is the shops by the weekend.

I defy anyone to do anything other that feel great after watching that. :D

While it is many years since I have seen him live, I have never fallen out of love with his authenticity and genuine joy for his art. More recently I have really enjoyed the acoustic stuff he has been doing, with Pete Seeger and other folk/ bluegrass artistes in the US. The BBC sessions were really great, I thought. And I have long loved the work of Pete Seeger (and the other Seegers), and also Woody Guthrie. So this inauguration combo is a gem as far as I am concerned!

Happy to help, Ags!

It is a great 'cheer-me-up' clip worth saving, or adding to youtube favourites. That said, HBO will track it down, I am sure....

Ags, I just LOVED the Seeger sessions. Now, this new album, maybe I need to hear it more but I'm a tad disappointed so far. :<> I'm shocked that I'm even saying that but unlike the others, this didn't capture me right away.
Saying that, I heard today there's going to be a Working on a Dream World Tour beginning this Spring! :D :D :D

Where????????? When????????? The auld fla in this house is 50 this year and seeing the great man would just make his birthday....for once I don't care if he doesn't play Scotland it's a good excuse for a few days away!!
keep us posted please GG!
I quite like the sound of some of the tunes on the album though not had a chance to listen in depth yet!!
Seeger sessions was my first experience of "LIVE SPRINGSTEEN". I loved it and loved the show tonight too!
Imagine being at an intimate gig like that....... 8) :D

 Ags, I cannot believe it - no wonder I'm greeting here! The World Tour itinerary was released today and NO England visit never mind Scotland. Dublin is included though!
Let's hope he's still negotiating with the UK :!: :!: :!:

There seems to be a 3-week gap from 10th June onwards. Maybe that just a break from the tour. Equally there is potentially time for 1 gig in UK if you look at the gap between Dublin and his next gig in France.

Would still prefer to see him at an Arena! Mary G - do you think there's time for another Playhouse gig in between
