When Rhett walks away and doesn't give a damn.......
Blow away the dreams that tear you apart
Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing but lost and brokenhearted

Wilson the Volleyball is one of Hollywood's most loved volleyballs. His glittering career started when he became the only companion of Tom Hanks' Chuck Noland in Cast Away (2000). Many say this is Wilson's best performance and he couldn't have given a better effort. He has made notable guest appearances on shows like "Family Guy" (1999), where he was able to poke fun at his role in Cast Away.

Personally, I think he's a has-been as I haven't seen him in anything worthwhile since. Last I heard he was in therapy as he is feeling utterly deflated.

Actually they think hes turned to drugs, he was quoted as saying that everytime someone puts a needle in him he feels inflated.

He's older and doesn't have much bounce left. And I've heard he looks quite bloated.

As for Rhett... the saddest part about that was that he didn't "not give a damn" sooner. She was a spoiled brat who didn't care whose feelings she hurt to get what she wanted. I should read that book again.

Och Bobbie - don't!!!! These two are my favourite couple in American literature. She may very well be a flawed heroine but a fabulous one at that!!!!!
And yes, you should read it again as it is a wonderful historical drama. I read it about once every five years. I've been to Margaret Mitchell's house and it was a highlight of my stay in Atlanta!!

Sorry to hear about Wilson. He was an excellent all round performer in his day.

You all must not remember what choice sophie had to make in Sophie's choice... gut wrenching.

Disclaimer: "you all" meaning those handful of people posting on this topic who didn't remember what Sophie's choice was, not to be confused with "all of you" people on the forum"

You're all havering. The saddest moment in any film that there ever has been or ever will be, is when Artax drowns in the Swamps of Sadness
