The honeycombs made it across the pond, was a very popular song back then. I can see why the other one didn't make it across :lol:

When the very popular "Tutti Frutti" was on TV (70s? 80s?), there were articles in the paper about the Poets, because a lot of people thought the series was based on them.
At that time the Poets were still playing together and apparently still quite popular.

I know they only had limited success, and that mainly in the 70's, but knocking around somewhere in the 60's were Frankie Miller and "the
sensational" Alex Harvey. And to be honest Bill, I'd rather listen to them than the two you mentioned.

Donovan was unlucky. He was actually was pretty decent, but comparison with Dylan made his entire career seem pointless.
