Roderick Williams murdered Rule Britannia although he did do a good job on Ole Man River.
The Mary Poppins bit was good, the woman was no Julie Andrews but did her best and what she lacked vocally she certainly made up for in enthusiasm.
The high spot for me was the duel between the woman violinist and the conductor. I'm not a fan of solo violins but I enjoyed that.
The conductor was excellent, came across as a happy wee soul, full of fun.
It was also very nice to see kids in the audiences, both in the hall and external locations, at least they are getting a decent musical education and an experience I hope they'll never forget.
Anyone else watch it ? Any thoughts ?
