Have your say....

Leslie Thomas

I am surprised and dissapointed that nobody has mentioned the passing of Leslie Thomas, one of our greatest authors of the 20th Century.
Forget Virgin Soldiers, while the trilogy was very good, he was better than that. The Adventures Of Goodnight And Loving, In My Wildest Dreams, The Magic Army, Bare Nell, Kensington Heights.
One of my favourite authors.
Thanks for the captivating stories Mr.Thomas, you will be missed.
Ouch !

Couldn't agree more Martin, a very good story teller, I read the "Virgin Soldiers" but like you say "he was better than that".
Next time I am in the Library I might just "revisit" his books.
