Jack Reacher film

Have your say....

Jack Reacher film

There was no way I was ever going to watch Tom Cruise murder Reacher BUT everything I read on it was full of praise for the film. It got me thinking about how when Ann Rice discovered Cruise was in her Interview with a Vampire she refused to have anything to do with it. When she saw his performance she was blown away and realised she had been wrong.
Well, I read this week that the same thing happened with Lee Child - he too thought Cruise was the wrong choice but changed his mind when he saw the film. Many have said it's a great film and after 5 minutes you forget the physical non-likeness and see Cruise as Reacher.
So I am going to go see it after all! It starts here on Wednesday. Anyone here seen it?

Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing but lost and brokenhearted

A very valid point GG but I just don't know if I can watch. Reacher is most definitely my fictional hero and I am not sure I want to spoil the image I have in my head! I am not a huge fan of Cruise either which probably isn't helping convince me to give him a chance. Let us all know what you think when you have seen it :D

If anyone does go to see the film then look out for Lee Child. He has a cameo role as the property desk officer in the police station.

Let the Winter roll along
