I remember sitting in someone's house at R.A.F. Newton, sat on the floor watching him sat on a studio floor performing San Fransisco. I hung on every word of it, listening to it so intently that the next time I heard it I could wail along and was word (if not tune) perfect.
I built myself a whole dream around that song and the last remaining faded fragment died yesterday.
