Kisses On The Bottom

New album from McCartney.
I'm a huge McCartney fan and would not normally say a word against the man but in my opinion this IS NOT his finest hour. The man can do so much better than this.
I think it's due for release on Feb 7th.

01. I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter
02. Home (When Shadows Fall)
03. It's Only A Paper Moon
04. More I Cannot Wish You
05. The Glory Of Love
06. We Three (My Echo, My Shadow And Me)
07. Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive
08. My Valentine
09. Always
10. My Very Good Friend The Milkman
11. Bye Bye Blackbird
12. Get Yourself Another Fool
13. The Inch Worm
14. Only Our Hearts
Ouch !

Heard 'My Valentine' on Radio 2 the other day and thought it a dirge. I heard it again yesterday and revised my opinion to 'not bad'. All said and done, if 'My Valentine' is being released first because it is one of the better songs on the album then I won't be buying it.

Looking at the tracks it seems as though most of them are covers.Cheap way of making more money isn`t it?

Just watched on TV tonight the Live sessions that took place at Capital Studios - absolutely brilliant! Loved every perfect minute. Honestly, after reading the posts on here I decided to give it a miss but now I'm buying the CD. McCartney's timing is impeccable and the sound of his voice is amazing. Much, much, much better than old Rod singing The Great American Songbook. And the musicians - Clapton, Joe Walsh, Krall, etc. were superb.
