NEDS

Have your say....

NEDS

Had a copy of NEDS which is set in teenage gang culture of Glasgow 1972.Bad language, violence and some really funny lines, the best being"We never touched your fu**ing lions".The fight with Jesus set to The New Seekers "You won't find another fool like me"is pure genius.
I think this movie could well be like Marmite...you will either love it or hate it :!:
I know my Summer'll never come
I know I'll cry until my dying day has come
Let the Winter roll along
I've got nothing left but song

Went to see it last weekend Bill - found it typical Peter Mullen stuff - you don't normally leave the pictures whistling and clicking your heels after his films.

That aside, the quip about the lions was comedy genius :-)

Saw it a while back, was pretty good all the way through, if you like that sort of film...

IMO The ending let it down a bit.... What do you think ?

Are there copies of this circulating already? I was looking forward to seeing it in a cinema at some point. First heard the story about the lions in the staff common room at Woodside Secondary in Glasgow back in the late 70s, so it has been around for a while.

If you want to go and see NEDS in Glasgow you have to be prepared to hide under the seats when rival gangs start world war 3.
