This, ladies and gentlemen, is the draw for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa...

Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile

Group G: Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal (New Group of Death)

Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia

Group E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon

Group D: Germany, Australia, Serbia Ghana (Group of Death?)

Group C: ENGLAND, United States, Algeria, Slovenia

Group B: Argentina, Nigeria, South Korea, Greece

Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France

12 June v USA, Rustenberg
18 June v Algeria, Cape Town
23 June v Slovenia, Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth

Tempting to say what an easy group THAT one is although no doubt their manager will be spouting the usual "There are no easy games, you know" speech. Not only do the bookies have England as 2nd favourites but someone on the news tonight was saying South Africa is going to be the place where they lift the cup again. Here we go... :roll: :twisted: :mrgreen:

Yes, they even tried to make USA look as a scary opponent. Denmark, even without the key players, beat them 3 - 1 a few weeks ago, and made them look very ordinary on the pitch.

I would have loved to see Denmark in that group as well, but I can always hope for them to meet in the quarter-finals 8)
