Frosty, personally I think that the injuries that Schumacher has sustained while messing about on a motorbike will hinder him from returning to F1.

Bill,
I've just read the news on the BBC Webpage.
Well done , you were correct the injury he got in Feb. on his kneck has stopped him from driving in F1.
Such a shame though as it would have given the remaining races a change of interest compared to the last ones.
They haven't said who will take the seat? Any ideas?

Poor Lewis! Sorry but that was DEFINITELY a pit stop error and it gave Barrichello the top position. How frustrating.

Still, if three different cars were on the podium, it means that it is all open and a real competition unlike some previous seasons. Look out Jensen.

Good race.

Brawn GP: job done.
How more satisfying would the win have been for Ruebens if Schumacher had been in the field. After all the times Ruebens was forced to let Schumacher through when they were team mates at Ferrari.

Luca Badoer, what a joke, the worst performance ever by a Ferrari driver.

Some interesting quotes from McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh,

“Rubens was quick and running longer than us, and in fact after that was able to stop a little bit early to cover us, and had us beaten by race pace, not as a consequence about what happened in the pit lane."

Whitmarsh added that even if its change of pit stop strategy had gone to plan Hamilton still wouldn’t have emerged ahead of Barrichello seeing as the Brazilian, despite an earlier than necessary pit stop, emerged just over six seconds in the lead.

Rueben's and Brawn GP's win was a well deserved victory, accomplished by their own tactics, and not by a mistake from McLaren.

Also a quote from boy wonder himself........

"It was a misunderstanding and we did the best job we could. It's very rare that we do things like that, but it's not a problem and it didn't ultimately affect our finishing position."

No one denies it was a massive pit error by McLaren. What most F1 fans realise though is that the Brawn GP car of Barrichelo was the fastest car, Barrichello was the fuel-adjusted fastest man on the Valencia grid.He did the same to Kovalainen at the previous pit stop, and even without the cock-up by McLaren Barrichelo would have done the same to Hamilton.
Ofcourse it could be that after the Australian "McLaren lying debacle"any quotes by Hamilton and his team boss will be doubted by many.

Looks like Sir Frank Williams has a fight on his hands to keep Nico Rosberg from leaving to join McLaren-Mercedes for next season as a replacement for the dissapointing Heikki Kovalainen.

Force India,great result.

Poor day for Jenson but no real harm done to his title bid.

It would be a fairy tale come true if Rubens can come out of the shadows and become champion.Either way it is win win for Brawn GP.

Now it is offical,Giancarlo Fisichella will drive for Ferrari for the rest of the 2009 Formula 1 season.Did he do all he could to win the Belgian GP last Sunday,or was he content to sit on the tail of the Ferrari? :<> :?
