I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it was a great response from Strachan today when asked how good it feels to be 7 points clear at the top of the table. He said.... "It would feel a lot better if there were only 2 games left!"

Listened to a couple of callers on a phone-in today, calling for Smith to go, and stating the league was essentially over As I recall, last season Rangers managed to squander a 7 point lead with only 5 games to go so I can't see why it's impossible to haul back 7 points with 18 games left. Celtic have also in the past squandered a 10 point lead, being pipped by a Gordon Strachan inspired Aberdeen team in 1980, so things are certainly far from over.

As the old adage goes, titles aren't handed out in December, so everyone should try and remain quiet until the silverware is presented....... to whoever that might be .
