CTA Euro 2008 Predictor - Updates etc

Postby CTA » Mon Jun 09, 2008 10:13 pm

Leading score before today's games was 35 with lots close by.

I am sure tonight's scores will change it all again.

We plan to post the scores after each round of games. So look out for an update after tomorrow's games.

71 entries in total (thought it was 67 but forgot about the ones that were e-mailed to me last week - one entry all the way from Falkirk!) So that is £320 to the winner, £35 to runner up and £355 to CDJFA (wee boys (and girls) football) Thanks to all who entered.

So how are you getting on? 8)

A wee 2 in the first game (I predicted 1-1) followed by a ten pointer. :-)

That's me on 53 pts noo - think that is more than I got the whole of the last time 8)

How are the rest of you getting on?

17 points yesterday, but only 5 tonight. Had the first game for 2-2 (no points scored) and Turkey to win 1-0, so 5 for that. A not so grand total of 48

2 pts from the first game - had 1-1 draw. And 2 from the second game - was heading for a ten pointer until yon ref gave the hosts a penalty!!! :o :o So 57 points now.

Know a man who got 20 from tonight - that would have been a nice wager at the bookies. 8)

Should Scotland be an Independent country?

Yes, I believe Scotland is a country and should therefore govern itself.
No, Scotland is not a country it is simply part of the UK and should therefore be governed from London.

Rab, do you mean the fact you don't like it being abbreviated, or should that be Robert   ? Actually, it's something I never say but do find myself typing. Must be the text language kicking in.

I assume thats what you meant?

Anyway that penalty still got me the 10 points, not that its doing me much good!
