Hume,

it's a terminology that has kind of crept into modern football speak, through mainly Soccer AM and folk jumping on bandwagons thinking its hip. I'm the old school, comments invited.

If you look on the CTA thread, you'll see that I've already pulled someone up for it. :o

Rab is what a lot of folk call me.

Romania got a penalty tonight, but Buf mad a fan sav.

Leader before tonight's games was Tommy Millar on 103 pts followed by Hector McMurchy on 102pts and a number of people in the 90s and 80s. Only needs one good night and you are right up there again. (Hector had 3-2 Turkey the other night!!!!)

Will post updated table after tonight.

Gawdsake :? :? I'm in another prediction league (Pie and Bovril) using, I think, the same scoring method and I've only got 45 points!! so, if I was in the CTA version I would be plumb LAST....below COLIN!!!!!!!!!

14 points tonight puts me onto 111. Add to that 6 qualifiers at 10 points each--that puts me onto 171. Anyone nail the 8 qualifiers??

Russia did look impressive tonight, but I thought they switched off a wee bit in the second half. Rallied at the end though

Not going to win this but want to finish as high as possible so 10 points from tonight as I have Germany in the semis (and in fact winning it).

Germany winning tonight makes it very interesting to say the least. 8)

Aye, getting the qualifiers correct was always going to be crucial. With three of my semi finalists already out, only Italy can give me another 10 points and as I don't have them winning it I can max out at 150! :( hopeless!
Should Scotland be an Independent country?

Yes, I believe Scotland is a country and should therefore govern itself.
No, Scotland is not a country it is simply part of the UK and should therefore be governed from London.
