If this is going to happen, then I think they should rotate it every 4 years to be one of the home countries i.e. 2012 = England, 2016 = Wales, 2020 = Scotland, 2024 = Northern Ireland, etc.

Either that or make the team entirely amateur, you could even select the team based on a reality TV program, where the entire country gets to vote. Might unearth some hidden talent?

It's all probably irrelevant anyway, because we'll be independent by the time all this comes around

beginning of the end if this happens, you'd end up with a british team in the world cup, mind you the manager at least would be scottish and maybe the goalie and kenny miller, naw, last one was a joke, honest!!!

Appreciate the Olympics is an U23 squad, and that anyone wishing to play in it would have to be under 17 at the mo, and I've already stated my disapproval of "Team GB" (probably more accurately Team UK)

But thought ..... what if ......?

Here's a starter for 10

1. C Gordon
2. M Richards
3. G Bale
4. J Terry
5. R Ferdinand
6. B Ferguson
7. J Cole
8. S Gerrard
9. W Rooney
10. J McFadden
11. C Bellamy

Never ever in a million years would i give any sort of backing to this and if you have any kids who would want to play in this be very very ashamed.
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
