Ryder Cup

Postby 4th gen Suthen' » Fri Sep 22, 2006 8:10 am

Looking forward to watching and listening to the Ryder Cup for the next 3 days.

Muted applause from the Irish spectators when Woods came to the tee then not so muted cheering when he went in the water :!:

Wild cheers for Harrington.

It's gonna be great...........

wish there wasn't so much friendly play between both teams. even if they are friends they could at least pretend they hated each other for the weekend at least. a bit of sledging on the first tee would be great. the europeans should put the fake pics of tigers wife in tigers locker. should get some yanks in too shout mrs doubtfire at monty. deadly.
please note the picture is NOT of me! it is me wearing a scary mask

Ryder Cup Live on sky.com

Postby daftdog » Sun Sep 24, 2006 1:40 pm

Being a poor student, i can't afford sky sports to watch the Ryder Cup live, BUT i did buy myself a Multi day ticket to watch it online http://streaming.skysports.com/rydercup/public/homepage.aspx since Friday and i must say its the best £5 quid ive spent for a while. The feed is the same live feed being shown on SkySports.

If anyone is still interested, you can still get a day ticket for today for £3 (just a wee bit more than the price of a pint or less than a packet o fags)

I have the feed open in one window and the scoreboard in another.

Sergio is getting his arse kicked at the moment... :(

wee edit: Forgot to say you can watch it full screen by right clicking over the screen and opting for Zoom>Full Screen

The only golf worth looking at is a Volkswagen.

do i really have to wait another two years, still valderama coming up and then it's only april till the masters.

i will say i though faldo did good job tho for someone born on july18th he's not that funny!!!!

i do miss alex hay and peter alliss, but didn't get to watch bbc highlights as some people thought 11hrs of golf was enough? tried using the sam card but didn't work, not even greatest living scotsman was enough to get to see the beeb. whats our license for if not for full coverage of the ryder cup, 1999 was the reason i had to get sky in the first place

easy to see that europe played as a team and the whole thing meant little to some of the yanks, three of them didn't even have passports?
