west ham didn't need the money, since they will only have to pay the wages since its a loan deal, which would make me think it was an attempt to show chelsea, man u etc that they can play in english football and are worth the money they are asking.

apparently they have signed fulltime contracts at the hammers
but their rights are still owned by MSI
a company owned by Kai Joobchurian(i think thats how u spell it, cant be arsed checking it)
who is known to be a friend of abramovich
when chelsea (or hopefully Man U, or even anyone else sign them) they will buy them wholesale from MSI
at the moment west ham are only paying wages, which is why they can afford it
