I've been trying to watch Wimbledon this afternoon and find myself having to watch with the sound turned off because of the racket Ms Azarenka is making. Every shot, whether serving or returning serve, is made to the accompaniment of a high-pitched screech. I don't know how her opponents put up with it. So far as spectators are concerned, this surely counts as a crime against humanity! There are some grunters among the men, but nothing as nerve-shredding as this.
