Terry is in my opinion an unsavoury character however at present not guilty of anything related to the present charges.
The FA have jumped the gun in stripping him of the armband, what happens if he is found not guilty? If it is his other baggage that is the problem then they should drop him from the squad but that would need a bit of principal, sadly lacking nowadays.

The only people that have made themselves look complete idiots over the whole Terry saga is the FA. They strip him of the captaincy over the Bridge affair, then he gets reinstated. Then they take action against him with no discussion with the manager about the situation. Just exactly who runs the team affairs, Cappello or the FA ?. Obviously the FA have to put image and PC issues first but they should at least have the courtesy to involve the manager before making such decisions.
In my opinion JT is nothing more than an average defender, there are better players that deserve a chance. You only have to look at the state of the Chelsea situation, where he is captain, to see how much trouble he can stir up if he doesn't get his own way.
He likes to think he is Mr Chelsea, when infact he is a Mr Nobody.

Pete.
